Who we are

CH Developments Limited (company number 17206308, registered in England and Wales) runs this website and is responsible for the personal details you share with us. Registered office: First Floor 2, Bevington Road, Birmingham, B6 6JB. Office: 36A Birchensale Road, Redditch, Worcestershire, B97 6JS. Contact us about privacy at Admin@chdevelopmentslimited.co.uk or on 07857 039700.

What we collect and why

When you ask for a quote by phone, WhatsApp, email or the enquiry form, we receive the details you choose to give us: usually your name, phone number, email address, postcode and a description of your project. We use them only to reply to you, arrange a site visit, prepare a quote and, if you go ahead, carry out the work. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and then performing that contract.

The enquiry form does not store or send anything from this website. It opens WhatsApp or your email app with your message pre-filled, which passes that text to the app you choose; it only reaches us when you press send there.

We keep enquiry and job records for as long as we need them to deal with your project and to meet legal, tax and warranty obligations, and then delete them. We do not sell your details or use them for marketing without asking you first.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people find useful. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_*, which last up to two years. We have switched off Google signals and advertising personalisation, so the data is used for statistics about this site only. We use no advertising cookies and no tracking across other websites. Under the UK statistical purposes exception (PECR as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025) these cookies need no prior consent, but you can opt out free at any time. If your browser is set to an EU, EEA or Swiss time zone, we ask first: Google Analytics cookies and Microsoft Clarity only run after you choose Accept, and Reject keeps both off.

We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use our pages (clicks, scrolling and anonymised session replays) so we can fix what gets in the way. Clarity masks what you type into forms. It sets the cookies _clck (up to a year) and _clsk (one day), and we tell it not to use advertising storage.

You can opt out of analytics at any time. Your choice is saved in this browser; if your browser blocks site storage, it applies to the current visit only.

The map on our contact section is embedded from Google Maps, and Google may set its own cookies when it loads. If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to that service.

Who else sees your details

Only the people who need them to deal with your project, our website and email providers, and Google and Microsoft for the analytics described above. If a job needs a specialist (for example a structural engineer or Building Control), we share only what they need to do their part.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal details we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete them, or object to how we use them. Contact us using the details above and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
