Kitchen Fitters in Bromsgrove
A kitchen is the heart of a Bromsgrove home. Whether you occupy a period cottage with low ceilings and original features, a spacious interwar semi, or a bright new extension, we tailor the design to suit the property's character and your daily needs. We discuss workflow, storage, appliance choice and aesthetics in detail; we sketch layouts, source samples and adjust until the design is right. We then fit everything: base and wall units, worktops, splashbacks, appliances, sink and taps, and final decoration.
We do not subcontract kitchen work. Our directly employed fitters, electricians and plumbers manage the full project: stripping out the old kitchen, preparing surfaces, installing units and appliances, running new services if required, and finishing to a high standard. That continuity means we take ownership and resolve issues quickly. Communication is constant: we flag discoveries early and discuss solutions before they delay the job.
Cost varies widely based on kitchen size, specification and your appliance choices. A simple fitted kitchen will cost less than a high-spec design with premium appliances and bespoke joinery. We provide a free fixed-price quotation covering everything: units, worktops, appliances, labour, services and VAT. No surprises.
What We Do
Kitchen design, fitting & appliance integration
Layout & spatial design
We assess the kitchen space, existing services and building constraints. Cottage kitchens often have irregular walls and low headroom; semis may have an alcove or chimney breast to work around. Modern extensions offer flexibility. We design for efficient work flow (sink, cooker and fridge in a triangle) and maximize storage and counter space. Sketches are provided for approval.
Cabinetry, units & finishes
We source fitted kitchens from trusted suppliers: bespoke joinery for unique spaces, modular systems for standard layouts. Woods, laminates, lacquers and door finishes range from traditional painted styles suited to period properties to sleek contemporary designs. All units are sturdy, fully adjustable and delivered pre-finished to minimize site work.
Worktops & splash backs
Granite, quartz, laminate, wood and tile are all options. Granite and quartz are heat and stain resistant, suited to active kitchens. Laminate is cost-effective. Wood (sealed oak, walnut) brings warmth to period homes. Splashbacks behind sink and cooker are tiled, mirrored or glass depending on the design aesthetic.
Appliance specification & installation
Built-in ovens, hobs, hoods, dishwashers and refrigeration are integrated into the design. We advise on energy ratings and functionality. Ovens and hobs are safely installed to Building Regulations; extractor hoods are ducted to the outside; dishwashers are plumbed and fitted. We arrange appliance delivery and integrate them seamlessly.
Plumbing & electrical upgrades
We run water supply to the sink, drainage to waste, and electrical circuits to appliances and sockets. Modern kitchens often require enhanced electrical provision: multiple sockets, a dedicated cooker circuit, and lighting on separate switches. All work is to Building Regulations and tested by a certified electrician.
Finishing & decoration
Once units and appliances are fitted, we finish: walls are made good, painted or tiled, shelves fitted, handles and hardware installed, and the space cleaned thoroughly. We address any snags and ensure everything functions perfectly before handover.
Good to Know
Budget, listed status & service routes
The practical and planning side, handled as part of the job.
Listed building considerations
Some Bromsgrove properties are listed or in the conservation area. New fitted kitchens may require Listed Building Consent if original features are affected. We advise on what requires approval and help navigate the process. Period-appropriate designs that respect the building's character are more likely to be approved.
Service locations & existing infrastructure
Existing water supply, gas, electrical and waste runs may not align with your ideal kitchen layout. Sometimes we can relocate services; other times the kitchen design is adjusted to work with existing routes. We assess early and discuss options to avoid expensive disruption.
Appliance sourcing & lead times
Popular appliances are in stock and available quickly. Bespoke or imported models can have long lead times. We source items early and manage delivery to fit your programme. Any delay is communicated upfront so site planning adjusts accordingly.

Questions & Answers
Kitchen Fitters in Bromsgrove: common questions
How long does a kitchen installation take in Bromsgrove?+
A straightforward replacement typically takes two to three weeks. A more complex project with replumbing and electrical upgrades might take four weeks or longer. We give you a realistic programme at the start. Most kitchens are usable within a week; finishing touches follow.
Can you keep my original kitchen features if my property is listed?+
Sometimes. Original Aga ranges, farmhouse sinks and period finishes can be incorporated. Listed Building Consent is required if original fitted kitchens are removed entirely. We discuss options and advise on what is approvable. New units can be designed to echo period character.
What if I want to upgrade appliances during the fit?+
Ring or email and we will discuss the change. If a different appliance fits the existing provision, we adjust the cost. If substantial new services are needed, we provide a revised quote. Small changes within the original scope are absorbed; significant upgrades are costed separately.
Do you offer a warranty on kitchen work?+
Yes. We guarantee our installation for one year. If units, worktops, appliances or services fail due to our labour, we return and put it right. We also carry public liability insurance and CHAS accreditation for your confidence.
